The bottles are made of alluminum and are food safe. These ARE NOT dishwasher safe and please be aware the in rim of there bottle there is a seal to keep them from leaking this seal is removable so when washing please make sure the seal gets replaced if taken out to wash

The tops of the lids are made of plastic.
